YOUR HOLIDAY

Your holiday matters to us! Our aim is to make your holiday preparations and the holiday itself as hassle free and relaxing as possible, we want you to have a fantastic holiday and come back year after year.

The Summit chalets have all been carefully selected, no sterile chalets here, all are privately owned and tastefully decorated in traditional style but with a modern twist. The chalets all have easy access to the free and frequent resort bus that whisks you to the nearest slopes. It is also possible to ski back down a red run for most of the season.

We offer you added flexibility by allowing you to choose between having your week catered or self catered, please look at our catering page for more details.

Ski holidays are unlike most other holidays as there is so much to arrange, airport transfers, ski hire, ski school, lift passes…. and while it is possible to turn up and sort it all out on your first day, it is surely better to get it all arranged before you turn up (it’s cheaper too!).  We make this process a lot easier by providing you with all the information  you need to choose the services you want and we can help advise you if you are unsure what to choose. We have been arranging ski holidays for the last 13 years and have some great contacts.  For more information about about the different services available, please see our skiing and travel pages.

Please contact us now for any help or information that you might need or to chat with us about booking your next ski holiday.

CATERING

Summit Chalets CateringSummit chalets gives you the choice of whether you want to go catered or self catered. Some people just love having the whole issue of shopping and cooking taken away from them, and others quite like going to a French supermarket or delicatessen and shopping for different foods.

Here at summit chalets we do things a little differently. Rather than employ people that have no previous catering experience we use a team of freelance chefs that are very used to catering for large parties, they do this as a career choice rather than a gap year bit of fun.

The quality of the cuisine and food is very important to us, we give them a very healthy budget so they can buy quality ingredients.

Please take a look at our catering page here for more information

SKIING

Situated in the heart of the 3 valleys, Meribel offers an extensive network of runs for skiers and snowboarders of all levels. The 3 valleys, consisting of Courchevel, Meribel and Val Thorens/Les Menuires offers over 600 km of linked pistes going up to a height of 3230m with 80% being over 1800m and Meribel is in an ideal position to take advantage of all the 3 valleys has to offer.

Its sheltered setting means its good selection of blues and reds leading into resort are protected by the steep-sided mountains and enjoy more settled weather conditions than in the adjacent broader valleys.

For beginners, the gentle green slopes at Altiport and the nursery slopes at Rond Point make good starting points. The altiport also has 2 excellent fun runs for children and adults alike, the animal run and the inuit run, which has lots of surprises to discover to keep you interested.

For intermediates there is an almost limitless choice of runs with the majority of the three valley slopes being either blue or red, ensuring that you can ski a whole week without skiing the same run twice if you don’t want to though some of the runs are so good you will want to ski them again and again, Coombe de Vallon, George Mauduit and Jerusalem to name but a few.

For the more experienced there are plenty of challenging black runs, couloirs, mogul runs and of course off piste skiing.

The three valleys boast a fantastic lift system with modern and fast running lifts ensuring minimum queuing time and maximum ski time. Meribel also has an extensive snow cannon system with 2000 snow cannons making it a very snow sure resort.
